Chan Yuen (also known as CY) graduated in 1991 from the Polytechnic of Wales (now known as the University of Glamorgan, UK) with a Second-Class-Upper (Honours) law degree appearing as the top student among the Asian students. He then proceeded with his Certificate in Legal Practice course at the Universiti Malaya.
CY was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of
Malaya in 1994.
He has wide ranging experience in resolving civil disputes especially matters related to the construction law and corporate law. In over 25 years of experience in both litigation and corporate matters, CY has conducted hearings in numerous courts including the Federal Court and has held meetings with clients for rendering
of various advices relating to corporate and commercial issues.
In addition, he is also a certified financial planner of The Financial Planning Association of Malaysia.
